I agree.

Though the race classification in schools seems to happen all on its own. Especially once they get to High School.

I’m sorry that you’ve had to deal with names like that. I got picked on for being a smart kid, and for not having the coolest (name brand) clothes, but that was it. Nothing like what you must have gone through.

Making those type of comments unacceptable, to me, needs to start with the parents. They are the first line of education, and we need to see that as our responsibility. Discrimination is not something I tolerate in my house.
