I’ve always done this, even from the youngest age I can remember. I have an insatiable urge to create, and when I get completely lost in the process it’s the closest I’ve ever been to reaching Nirvana. Once it’s done, it’s a loss that I’m never sad about — since now I’m free to pursue the next thing!

Only trouble for me comes with the long-term projects (aka, my all-but-abandoned novel). The next, new shiny rolls past me, and I’m off to the races again, seeking more instant gratification.
