You blow my mind on a regular basis, but this line, in this poem…I’m in awe.

…tter as a flock’s warcry.
The lexicon of a new species, pure, untamed.
I do not speak it fluently. At this distance, it resembles a rubber band ball,
Teeming with low fizzings, like crickets in line to have their wings ripped out.
It might blow up with the tension but more and more rubber bands gather.
I feel like a foreign visi…
